What we collect
We collect your name, email address, and password when you create an account. We also store wish list items and Secret Santa draw history that you create on the platform. For anonymous draws (no account required), we store the names and email addresses of participants for the purpose of delivering picks.
How we use it
Your email is used to send Secret Santa picks, password reset links, and (if opted in) occasional product updates. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.
Passwords
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text. We cannot recover your password — only reset it.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
Data retention
Your account data is retained until you request deletion. Anonymous draw data is retained for one year for resend purposes, then deleted.
